Setting device measuring approx. 12 x 9 x 8 cm, suitable for format 48 x 28 mm Grinding Mouse, provided with non-slip rubber feet, including a set of blank sheets (2 blanks per thickness) from 30µ to 1000µ.

Setting device measuring approx. 12 x 9 x 8 cm, suitable for format 76 x 26 mm Grinding Mouse, provided with non-slip rubber feet, including a set of blank sheets (2 blanks per thickness) from 30µ to 1000µ.

Gauge for instantaneous µ-exact measurement of grinding thickness. It consists of waterproof, robust high-quality dial gauge for professionals made in the “Black Forest”. This gauge means an enormous saving of labor and so indispensable for making thin sections.

It is finely polished with gliding surface made of ceramics.

Magnet disc with a diameter of 25 cm for use of all polishing discs, grinding discs, tissue discs etc. with steel back.

The specimen are securely fixed by spring force which is easy to dose. By using this mounting press, bonding with reproducible thickness is obtained.

Also usable for mounting of cover glasses without spring force.

The mounting press is also suitable (without feet) for big hotplates because of its flat bottom.

Take this polishing mouse with your microscope slide (48 x 28 mm) for a finished polishing in a convenient and safe way. It is milled from massive aircraft aluminum, approx. 5,5 x 3,5 x 0,8 cm.

The polishing mouse can be operated by your centrally placed finger.

Watch out: We strongly recommend you to change to format 48 x 28 mm for rubbing and thin sections!

This polishing tool is intended for tightening abrasive and polishing paper. These can be purchased from us (see below) or made by you from abrasive paper in DIN format by cutting the sheet into three strips each of the same size.

This is our polishing paper with silicon carbide, granulation 2500 and 5000 suitable for our polishing tool.

This supporting frame prevents the microscope slide to fall down onto the front lens of the condenser.
